Rangenord was founded by Co-Founders Arto Mäkinen and Vesa Mäkinen, bringing together decades of experience in entrepreneurship, product design and a shared passion for hunting and sport shooting.

Vesa has spent more than 20 years designing products with a focus on precision, durability and functionality. Arto has over 15 years of entrepreneurial experience, building businesses through innovation, problem-solving and customer-focused thinking.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when normal business activities slowed down, Arto, Vesa and their close circle of hunting and shooting friends found themselves spending more time discussing equipment than ever before. They shared ideas, identified common frustrations with existing products and asked a simple question:

"Why isn't there a better solution?"

Those conversations quickly evolved into sketches, prototypes and countless hours of testing in real hunting and shooting environments. What began as a passion project soon became a clear mission to design premium firearm accessories that offer a precise fit, exceptional durability and dependable performance in the field.

Today, every Rangenord product starts with thoughtful engineering, extensive testing and continuous refinement before reaching customers around the world.
